Born Free, Psalm 106 - Study 12

Born Free, Psalm 106 - Study 12

Psalm 139:16

your eyes saw my unformed body. All the days ordained for me were written in your book
before one of them came to be

.............................................

DAYS SET

We are all born in the exact place at the right time in the correct location

Each person being born at the precise exact time destined by God ....at the time, second, day and
month

Each person being placed by God within a family within a location for which there is no mistake
..................................

NO CHOICE

We all know that we do not choose the parents we have or the location in which we are born

Neither do we choose the period in history when we are born

We have no real choice as to our own abililities, natural talents and natural giftings

We are as we were meant to be, being gifted in certain areas and not so much in others

We soon learn that we may get on at school or we may not

We may have certain things we are good at and certain things we really have no idea about

So we begin to focus within those areas where we find our natural talents flourishing

..............................

BEYOND CONTROL

As we get older we may leave schooling and go to work,University or college

Again we work within certain areas that we understand and have the natural ability to walk in

And maybe then onto a career and maybe marriage, children

We have no choice as to when we die or when other people die around us

Many things we find in life are beyond our control

..............................

BORN FREE

In this we may well find at times that our "Free Will" is confined and in fact is not really
"Free Will"

To be "born free" is not freedon at all and must be placed within the confines of certain frameworks
and structures

Gods intimacy within the boundaries of His Nature

www.christianfaithwalk.com/home/christia...psalm-104part-9#4118

We really have no choice when it comes to a lot of things and once we reach a certain age we
may rebel against the authorities that are put into place

Be it parents, society, goverment..............

Because somehow I might feel that my freedom is restricted and that I am being confined

Somehow my "Free Will" is being over ruled by a higher power and that I want to voice my
own opinion

Somehow MY choices are being "OVER RULED" and "MY FREE WILL" is being imposed upon

I seem to want to change the world and find that the "world" changes me

.................................

FREE WILL WITHIN BOUNDARIES

I find that my "Free Will" is more to do with "what I do within a day"

That is "how I go about my day" and "how I react to each event"

Each of us is given the same 24 hour day, each of us have differing abilitues which project us into
certain areas of life

But our free will is more to do with "how I go about things"

In other Words "its not what I go through but how I deal with ...what I go through"

...........................................

FREE LIFE CHANGE

And so when we are born again, that is to say "when we become Christians"

We begin to be transformed by the renewing of our minds

In this our free will to decide and react is changed as our way of thinking is renewed

So too our reactions and the "way we deal with each day changes"

In this our "Free Will" changes our lifes being that ""Free Will" is more to do with "what I do within my 24 hour day - being chnaged to What I do within His 24 hour day"

And so I can move within the boundaries of that which God has set for my life by using my "free will" to decide how to react and go about my day"

Hope that makes sense

.....................................

NEW DAY

In this is our NEW free will , in that once being "saved" God is now given rise to new oportunities within the boundaries of His nature

And in this new oportunities arise that have never arisen before

As God begins to give new Holy Spirit giftings and abilities

New choices arise and "within the boundaries of Gods nature" I now can have a far greater
choice
..............................

Until the "CROSSING OVER" and we may just realise that once again "Maybe" our "free will" has been over ridden

i my self belive we have free will we can chouse what we do with are time and what we foucuse on when i was with out a relatioship with christ my nature was determind by sin and like a dog will pee up against a tree and also vomit and go back and eat it so did i
when i came into relationship with christ my life was transformnd he to me from darkness to lights and place in me a heart of flesh a heart for him yet i still had free will the funny thing is he speaks about his will be done he tells us to pray its done becouse his will isnt always done in are lifes so yes free will do we have it of is it about surendring whats still about us and saying lord your will be done

O yes I agree

And thats exactly what this study is aiming at

Free will ...........to do His Will

That is the will we have to do "His Will" or not

soon Gods people are to march out of that slavery and towards the promised land and to follow (or not) the Light in front of them

........................

But when speaking in general terms about mankind whether Christian or not... as in "Israel before beinf released from slavery" and relating it too "Mankind and to me before I was saved and set free from slavery" that is before the "Cross over"

Then for example take a person born in victorian times (UK) in poverty and within the Lower classes

then the choice would be limited to the confines of that society and time

eg: a woman = house maid or a man = house Butler

or a shoe cleaner or a beggar

The my "free will" is limited by "when, where and who I am" as in "I have much less choice"

..........................

Or take for example a person born in a country where open worship is not acceptable

Or being born in a country where women are rated as second class citizens

Compared to lets say an upper class society male 200 years ago, in that case the privileges and oportunities presented to me give me much more choice in life ...but again my "free will" is still refined and confined to that society, that age, that gender, that time, that goverment, that nation,

I still have no choice as to where I am born, who I am, what my giftings are, my talents,

And indeed depending on when and where I live is what I can use and do

........................

With some in life it may just be a "machine" stuck in a rut....little choice but to do the same thing each day and to work or not within the limitations of the society and structure that is put into place

...........................

And so we are about to look at "The Hebrew people in slavery" in Egypt

With little "free will" but to work and to live

Stuck in the confines of the Egyptian culture and used as "tools"

In this they only had the daily free will of "how do I react" and "how do I get through this day"

"How do I pay my masters" and "how do I keep going"
