Psalm Ninety is by an Anonymous Author

Verse one .................."God is King, let the earth rejoice" Psalm 96:10-11

UNAPPROACHABLE LIGHT

We see here the awesomeness and Holiness of God in Psalm 97:2-5

Verse two reminds us that God is Holy and His lives in unapproachable Light
1 Timothy 6:16 Or is unapproachable Light

"Righteousness and Justice are the foundation of His Throne"

Fire spreads out ahead of Him, His Lightning flashes across the world

Exodus 19:9 Deutoronomy 4:11 1 Kings 8:12 Psalm 18:11 Psalm 89:14

Hebrews 12:29 Joshua 3:11 Amos 9:5

Verse six :"Every nation see's His Glory" Psalm 50:6

.........................................................................

NO OTHER GODS

Psalm 97:7-9 declares that there are no other gods above Him

Jeremiah 10:14 Hebrews 1:8 Zephaniah 3:14 Psalm 83:18 Psalm 95:3

.........................................................................

APPROACHABLE LIGHT

Psalm 97 :10-12 reflects on Gods people and how His Light Shines on the Godly

Daniel 3:28 Romans 12:9 Job 22:28

English Standard Version Psalm 32:11

You will decide on a matter, and it will be established for you, and light will shine on your
ways

...........................................................................

And so lets begin this message with a few "Cross Overs" or "Paradoxes"

What may appear on first glance appear to be "contradictions" in God word

1.

We see that God is unapproacbale yet we can approach His Throne ?

........................

2.

He is Holy and no person may go near yet He lives in us as Christians ?

........................

3.

How does "Love the Lord your God with all of Your Heart" Relate too

"God loves you ? "

......................

4.

We enter into His gates, into His courts, into His Holy Place and yet He enters us and can be
in us

.....................

5.

I will call upon Him, yet He calls me

...................

6.

I act on what He says yet He does

....................

What does this all sum up ?

What does this equate too ?

Psalm 96">What excitement when you find out that all your debts have been cancelled ? Psalm Ninety Six Here

Again Psalm Ninety Seven begins in a similiar way to Psalm ninety Six

"Let The Earth rejoice"

Why do we rejoice ?

We rejoice because when we reach the threshing floor of Chidon and we stumble we do not
have a God who destroys us !

No no no, instead we have a God who will pick us up when we stumble

1 Peter 2:8 Proverbs 3:23 Proverbs 4:12 Romans 11:11

We have a Saviour who picks us up, like the Good Samaritan, as we lay at the wayside

No longer do we walk in darkness, no longer do we condemn ourselves, no longer do we
face the penalty that we walked towards, no longer do we stand convicted and sentenced to
death

Now , yes now, we walk as free sons of the Living God, yes Sons, yes Sons due the inheritance
that is ours in Him

Because of what Jesus has done, Because of what Jesus has done...Because of what Jesus has done,
when we stumble Jesus will pick us up , yes indeed Jesus will lift us up, yes indeed Jesus will
raise us up , yes indeed Jesus has raised us up and will raise us up

No , no , no , no longer does God the Father lay within dark clouds and dwell within veils of
cloud,

But, But , But, NOW, The veil has been lifted, the dark clouds that separated have been lifted,
the veil is torn in two, Now now now, at last we with unveiled faces..............

Now now now, we walk in the Light of God..........

Now now now, Jesus stands between us and mediates for us and with us

Now now now, Jesus is there instead of the cloud, so that no longer the anger of the Fearsome God
falls upon us

Now yes now our debt has been paid because of what Jesus has done

Hallelujahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

OUR DEBTS HAVE BEEN CANCELLED

YOU RAISE ME UPPPPPPPPPPPP - VIDEO

Now no longer do we walk at the bottom of the mountain, worshipping hte golden calf

No longer do we fear touching the mountain lest we die

Exodus 19:12

No longer do we wait for the mediator to come back down from the mountain !

No longer does the mediator between God and the people stand in dark cloud on the
mountain pleading on our behalf

No longer does the Moses of the mountain cover His face because of the radiance upon the
people

But we with unveiled faces .........

Now we no longer fear touching the moutnain lest we die

But we too are lifted up to stand with the mediator on the mountain and we too are raised up
with Him

The Moses of the mountain to talk and speak with our Father God ,

No longer in fear and trepidation, but in the comfort of the Holy Spirit

Genesis 19:17

No longer do we flee or look back...........

No longer does God hide within those clouds behind the curtain

For we now can come to Him and Sons of God and speak "face to face"

Now yes , now, and now, we are the salt of the earth

Matthew 5:13

Now yes now , you rasie me up so I can stand on mountains

to walk on stormy sea's

I am strong when I am on Your Shoulders

I stand on the mountain

.................................................................................

And so we come to sunday, thats the day when we go to meet with other fellow Christian
believers and in doing we testify and witness of our faith, you could say its a kind of "proclamation"

Its a time when we worship and are able to share our faith with those who are one in the same
Faith
.................

And so I trundled off to Church and the message given was a childrens message about "Messing up"

And we all "mess up"

The older we are the more time we have to "Mess up "

In other words to "Sin"

We can mess up in our relationship with Our Lord and Saviour and a "Cloud" can form between
us and Him, between us and God the Father and we know that we as Christians have "Jesus" the Son of God who breaks through that cloud and then and then we see the Light of His glorious face, we can come into the very prescence of God......can't we ?

Then how can we live indeed if we do not Know Him ?

How can we look upon His face without dying ?

Exodus 33:20 KJV INdeed no one can see His Face and Live John 1:18 1 Timothy 6:16 NLT

Of course when we come to Jesus the Son of God we die to our own selves don't we ? Galatians 2:20

Of course all that see His Face die and are reborn....are'nt they !

.....

Yes indeed we seek His Face ALWAYS 1 Chronicles 16:11 NIV

....

And so we know that David sinned and we know that Christ died "Once for All" Hebrews 10:11-14

And that forgiveness of sin abounded before the revelation and proclamation on the Cross ?

Leviticus 4, Psalm 32:1 NLT Romans 4:1-8 also see Romans 4:7-8 NIV

We know that David and many others "Messed up" (Sinned) but that they were "Let off" (Forgiven)
