The Will Of Two Nations,Psalm 106, Study 19,

The Will Of Two Nations,Psalm 106, Study 19,

And so the nation that had been under the authority and oppression of Egypt was freed
and it was God intention and Gods Will and Gods purpose to deliver the people from
the hands of that oppressive nation

This Holy nation that belonged to God, being under the rule and authority of pharoah
and being a nation within a nation

This nation that followed the Light day by day

1 Peter 2:9

But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to
God, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his
wonderful light.

God released them and delivered them as He said He would

God delivered the hebrew people from egypt and as previous studies displayed the people rebelled and sought the temporal

Now they had rebelled once more in the land of canaan

But now once more they had placed themselves under anothers authority

The sin of conforming to another nations ways had led to the sin that once more
trapped them

God let them over to their worship of another and watched as they committed adultery
with another Husband

Now they were ruled by the authority of the nations they had willingly submittted too

Being unequally yoked and having the new yoke of their enslavers

Now they once more had placed themselves over to be over ruled

And the nation within a nation now had a new king and god

They had given the authority for their new king to take control of their lifes

Genesis 1-3

28And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and
replenish the earth, and subdue it

the definition of subdue is : Overcome or bring under control

They had used their free will and authority to put another in control

And so we come to the ending of Psalm 106 with "The Will Of Two Nations"

Psalm 106:44But he took note of their distress when he heard their cry;

45for their sake he remembered his covenant and out of his great love he relented.

46He caused them to be pitied by all who held them captive.

God continued to save his people time and time again because of His covenant and because of His love

That love was put into action to save the nation of Israel time and time again

And once more God heard the cries of His people as He did before in egypt now once more he heard His people

And so what happens if you submit youself to another nation yet that nation does not follow then Will of God ?

What happens if you submit yourself and yoke yourself to another authority yet that authority does not follow the will of God ?

What happens if you submit yourself to the will of your husband or wife yet that authority does not follow the will of God ?

What happens if you submit yourself to the will of another yet they do not submit to the will of God ?

We are going to end this series in another book of the bible

In the book of Daniel

And we shall see who I submit too

Do I submit too another and be controlled by another if it is leading me away from Gods will for my life ?

And that is the question of a lifetime that so many ask

This is the two nations waring within my soul

Romans 7:23

but I see another law at work in the members of my body, waging war against the law of
my mind and making me a prisoner of the law of sin at work within my members.

Sometimes I wonder who actually reads this stuff , but then its just my part to do what I believe God tells me to (although I don't always say what people might want to hear)

As my old boss used to say (yours is not to reason why .....yours is to do and die)

I,ll just raise a few points

your childhood indocrinations. And start going on facts, not beliefs

I don't have childhood indoctrinations being born again at the age of 21, neither do I have sunday school memories, although funny enough I ended up being a sunday schoool teacher for 25 years after being born again

As for childhood indocrinations now ....yes thats correct , we are to be as mature adults with issues of life but as children in ways of faith

1 Corinthians 14:20

Brothers, stop thinking like children. In regard to evil be infants, but in your thinking be adults.

And start going on facts, not beliefs

Hi sarah yes the bible is fact to me and not belief

Truth is confirmation of facts....observed, tested, verified, demonstrated and shown to be accurate and correct with evidence.

Yes you are correct all the books of Gods Word are observed, tested, verified, and demonstrated and shown to be accurate and correct with evidence.

I don't actually see how your post relates to this study ?

Anyway thanks for sharing

Can I ask you if you are a believer sarah ?

having poosted on this topic you are now subscribed to it until Ive finished the study anyway I hope it helps you

And so God having observed His people in the wilderness, heard the cries of His People

The had been tested and Gods salvation for His people was verified time and time again and
as sarah said "demonstrated"

Yes God demonstrated His love to His people here in the wilderness and of course we see this
love demonstrated in the gospels and this being observed also not just by The Father and
the whle of heaven but also by the disciples

And in this is the evidence being that The Holy Spirit resides in those who are His

So that even when we go through "hell" and back we can still stand strong

Ephesians 6:13

Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may
be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.

In other words I have Jesus who is my armour but when the tough times come I can
use my defense and weapons which is the Word Of God and put that which God has given me
being my armour into use

And so we go to Daniel 3:1-30

To follow the offshoot of this study please go too

The misleading of a Persons will - The Will Of Two Nations,

There may be times when my own submitting to someone else might mean
going against Gods Will

Now if I take a scipture like Ephesians 5:22

Wives, submit to your husbands as to the Lord

Now note this is "as to the Lord"

In Some families the lady of the house may be the stronger partner and in some it may
be the husband

Even so whatever the case if the husband is to walk out of Gods Will in a matter then
the wife/partner must decide "as to the Lord"

When in the workplace we submit to our superiors but there may be times when their
authority over us over rules Gods direction and we must decide between the two

Whatever or who ever I submit to I do it unto God

Romans 13:1

Everyone must submit himself to the governing authorities, for there is no authority
except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established
by God.

There may well be times when submitting to authority I go against Gods Will and I must decide whether to submit to the governing
authority that God has put into place or to submit to God as the overule authority in
my life

This does not mean that I rebel against authority if and when God has placed it over me

Rebellion is not the same as standing up for my faith

Romans 13:2

Consequently, he who rebels against the authority is rebelling against what God has
instituted, and those who do so will bring judgment on themselves.

Proverbs 24:21 Fear the LORD and the king, my son, and do not join with the rebellious,

Titus 3:1 Remind the people to be subject to rulers and authorities, to be obedient,
to be ready to do whatever is good,

1 Peter 2:13 Submit yourselves for the Lord's sake to every authority instituted
among men: whether to the king, as the supreme authority,

Now lets say I am instructed to go to war and fight for my country !

What do I do ? kill people and go against my own convictions ?

I am instructed by the goverment who have been put in charge by God to go against
the higher authority in my life ?

Gods intimacy within the boundaries of His Nature

And so ultimately everything I do is "Unto God" as I submit to Him I naturally submit to
those around me who God has placed in authority over me

But if that authority overules Gods will and takes me out of Gods will and purpose
then I walk out of that authority and into Gods

And so we know the story of daniel

Here in the book of Daniel we have a governing authority over Gods people and we see
, Hananiah is now called Shadrach,
Mishael is Meshach and Azariah is called Abednego.

So we have Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego

Daniel 1:7 And the chief of the eunuchs gave them names:
Hananiah he called Shadrach, Mishael he called Meshach, and Azariah he called

And so this governing authority orders that all should worship the golden statue set
up by the King

In this instance The governing authority goes against Gods Will

Not only had the Children of God (Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael and Azariah) been taken out of
their own land but they had been placed within another land

Now we have a nation within a nation, God Royal people , set apart for His purposes within
another nations authority

Now even their names had been taken and they were given new names

Revelation 2:17

To him who overcomes, I will give some of the hidden manna. I will also give him a white
stone with a new name written on it, known only to him who receives it.

Now they had new names which were inclined towards the gods of this nation

Hananiah who's name meant "The Lord has been gracious to me,"

Is changed to Shadrach "The inspiration of the sun;"
or "God the author of evil"

Mishael "He who comes from God."

Becomes "He who belongs to the goddess Sheshach,"

Azariah "The Lord is my Helper,"

Is changed too "the servant of Nego"

And so they are imprisoned within the walls of a nation and even given new names to
sygnify the gods of that nation

And now we have the we worship their gods or do we continue to
worhip our God

This is the exact opposite result to conforming in the previous study

Now we are "Transforming" to "transform"

The Will Of Obedience,Psalm 106,Study 18,

And so lets tell the story directly from scripture

Daniel 3:1

King Nebuchadnezzar made an image of gold, ninety feet high and nine feet wide, and
set it up on the plain of Dura in the province of Babylon

Daniel 3:6Whoever does not fall down and worship will immediately be thrown into a blazing

Daniel 3:14

Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, that you do not serve my gods or worship the image
of gold I have set up?

Daniel 3:20

and commanded some of the strongest soldiers in his army to tie up Shadrach,
Meshach and Abednego and throw them into the blazing furnace.

Daniel 3:25

He said, “Look! I see four men walking around in the fire, unbound and
unharmed, and the fourth looks like a son of the gods.”

30Then the king promoted Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego in the province of Babylon.

Now note that the king though the fourth to look like "son of the gods"

We find a cross reference in Job 1:6 like a son of the gods

The King would have had a knowledge of gods and would have thought the fourth person to be
"like a god" or "son of god"

Again later we see Daniel and the writing on the wall

Daniel 5:1-31

And we see man's finger appearing to write words on a wall.

Belshazzar (the new King) watches in horror and he summons men of his palace to tell him
what the message might mean and tells them that whoever can inform him of the writing
on the wall and its meaning would become a high government official.

Now Daniel interprets the handwriting on the wall as an interpreter of dreams.

Note how similiar this story is to "Joseph"

The writing on the wall read : "MENE, MENE, TEKEL, UPHARSIN"

Or Mene, Mene, Tekel u-Pharsin

Daniel then tells the King the interpretation

MENE; God hath numbered thy kingdom, and finished it.

TEKEL; Thou art weighed in the balances, and art found wanting.

UPHARSIN; Thy kingdom is divided, and given to the Medes and Persians"

Daniel 5:30That very night Belshazzar, king of the Babylonians,i was slain, 31and
Darius the Mede took over the kingdom, at the age of sixty-two.

Going back we see that Nebuchadnezzar who had the golden image/statue
made became like an animal in the field

Daniel 5:21He was driven away from people and given the mind of an animal; he lived
with the wild donkeys and ate grass like cattle; and his body was drenched
with the dew of heaven, until he acknowledged that the Most High God is
sovereign over the kingdoms of men and sets over them anyone he wishes.

In this the higher authority was brought down

Isaiah 45:2

I will go before you and will level the mountains; I will break down gates of bronze and cut through bars of iron.

Once more we see mankinds free will at work in the "Will of two nations"

Once being appointed by God to be a King my free will can overide Gods will when dealing with Gods people

Its evident that these two Kings ...both Nebuchadnezzar and Belshazzar were not preforming Gods Will but whether they had been ordained by God is another topic

REFER TO Deuteronomy 17:14 - The Will of A Nation - Psalm 106, Study 14

Joshua 24:15

15 But if serving the LORD seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the LORD.”

So back to Daniel 6 and we read how King Darius issued a decree that no omne should pray except to him and the king was forced to send Daniel to the Lions den and again we see how goign against the decree of the king saved Daniel

So that even though in all the circumstances that we have looked at in this study it would seem that these Godly men were sacrificing their lifes in order to go against the authorites in fact it saved their lifes

Matthew 16:25

For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will find it.

And so we end this study, keeping in mind "The Will Of Two Nations"

In this we see that an authority that we submit to could Go against Gods Will
