WWJD - WWGD,Psalm 88-92

wwjd (Photo credit: technovore)
Lord God in Jesus name speak to us daily and daily remind us by your Holy Spirit that
we are to yield to you and you alone, let me not yield to anyone or anything except you Lord
In Jesus name amen

"be imitators of God therefore"

So how do we imitate God ? are we kind like God ? do we forgive like God ?

Now they are probably the hardest things ..are'nt they?

It is not saying we are like God

Its saying imitate God in His ways eg:forgiveness, loving our enemies

Ephesians 5:1

Be imitators of God, therefore, as dearly loved children

So are we God ?

Could it be that we are God ?

Read on ...............

Can we enter the storehouses of the snow ? or the storehouses of the hail ?

which we reserve for times of trouble, for days of war and battle?

Do we know the way to the place where the lightning is dispersed ?

or the place where the east winds are scattered over the earth?

Do we cut a channel for the torrents of rain, and a path for the thunderstorm, ?

and water a land where no man lives, a desert with no one in it, ?

You might know the above as the book of Job 38:22-28

I wonder why God allowed job to go through all that hardship ?

We can imitate God in His nature as in "kindness and compassion"

But we do not do the same things God does and even greater things do we ?

John 14:12

12 Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been
doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the

So we imitate God in His love but we "WWJD"

We all know the story of the prodigal son and how the Father let him go off on his own way

God will often but not always do this, He will let the prodigal son go away

In fact their are two prodigals in that story ...the one who left and the one that stayed at home

One left the Father in his heart and the other left home

So now lets take the story further..

what if you met the prodigal son and you led him back home ?

Are you doing the same things as Jesus did ?

The Father let him go away and maybe the Father is using you to bring the prodigal back home ?

What if you met a woman who was not married (in that day and age) and in fact had had "five

What would you do ?

If you met men who were extorting moeny from others ? what would you do ?

If you met people getting drunk and having much wine ? what would you do ?

Ask "what would God do ? "

And read these scriptures then ask "WWJD" or what would Jesus do ?

John 4:7-18

John 2:1-11

Luke 7:34

He will lead you into places you do not want to go and into situations you do not want to be in

The creation and Genesis account are a bit like dipping a teapoon into the sea and drawing out a
teaspoon of water
God gives us a very simply picture of a very complex and considerably Inexhaustible process of
what actually happened
And so God gives this very simple picture of the days of creation and then we see that afterwards
if indeed there is any "after" with God....He rested, now we all know that God does not need to
rest, but resting is not just "putting your feet up" the same as building a house is not just a
literal "building of a house" it can be and is in the bible a "spiritual" house
And so God rested, although He never rests nor slumbers and as you say He sanctified, made Holy...

And so God who is in eternity and Spirit, made the seven days that some like too or may see as literal days

"He santified and made that day Holy"
Now Jesus is on the Cross and He shouts out "IT IS FINISHED"
And from this Cross come many Sons to glory, He brings many sons to Glory
They are "NEW CREATIONS" and they are ....? Yes Holy and santified, how ? by the Blood of
And so we have the building....(CHURCH) the creation...(note) THE CREATION ...created by
God which is sanctified and Holy
But what is the point in having an empty building ? who is the building ? is the building of brick
and mortar ? NOOOOOO
The building of Jesus is a spiritual building and the ones who are made Holy enter into this building....
And so who is more Holy ? the people in the building ... or the people ?

The gospels and indeed the new testament take things to the "Heart" this is what Jesus did and
does time and time again and breaks through the law teachers teaching of the day
Jesus says"even if you look at a woman in the wrong way with your eyes you have already
committed adultery"
Now take each commandment (as Jesus does) to the heart......can you ever keep one
commandment ?

Yes you and we and I can , we can keep the greatest commandment

The Ten Commandments

But lets look at the Ten Commandments

You have never looked at a women or man in the wrong way ?
You have never wanted what someone else has ?
You have never stolen ? more than one way to you tithe ?
You have never lied to yourseof or to God or to others? or even by not answering someone lied to them ?
You have never put soemthing else before God ?
You have never worshipped anything except God ? and you have always kept the sabbath day Holy ?
(whatever the sabbath is to you )
If you can say "I have always followed the commandments and have never broken them " then you are lying
But however we can keep one commandment as we yield to Him and submit to Him

what is this commandment ?

The rich young ruler broke all of the commandments when he said "I have never"
The biggest break with God was when he loved His money above God / Jesus
On the other hand tax collectors who were rich got saved and "entered the rest"
as it was "finished and the work has been finished
since the dawning of time) the had not obeyed the sabbath commandments or the ten commandments or
in fact all the some 613 commandments
they had simply come with a heart that was right and Jesus (note WWJD) called them home

We wonder why people think sunday is for "Church" people
You know the majority of folk think sunday is for car boot sales or forgoing shopping ?
Even the some in the "Christian" community believe that sunday is for Church and during the week is for other things
Then we wonder why in keeping our rutuals the world thinks we are religious and insignificant

sorry keeping the sabbath does not make me Holy , neither does it make me Holy by going to
Communion with God should be a constant thing, as I commune with Him he communes with
me,everyday and not just on sundays,
Families that have 2.2 children and are Christians are fine but that excludes the majority of people and families, some may have to work on that day, so what if they worship God at another time of the week ?
Some may not be near a Church so they worship when they can
Some may not even go to Church because they are housebound .
So to them every day would be the day they dedicate to God as they are dedicated to God
Sundays is one of the busiest days of the week as far as Im concerned and nothing to do with physical rest whatsoever

Romans 14:5: “One person regards one day above another, another regards every day alike. Each person must be fully convinced in his own mind.” The Sabbath was made for man. For this reason, Jesus is called “Lord of the Sabbath” Matthew 12:8 Mark 2:28; Luke 6:5

Jesus said in Mathew 11:28, “Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden,
and I will give you rest.” Rest in His completed works. Rest in His salvation and love.
The ten commandments were written by the finger of God on stone and given to Moses as the hearts of the people were as cold as stone .
Now we see the greatest commandments as "Matthew 22:36-40: “ Then a lawyer asked our
Lord Jesus, “Teacher, which is the great commandment in the Law?” Jesus' answer: “You shall
love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.

you shall love your neighbor as yourself

these are written on our heart
And so we go back to WWJD and WWGD

Written On Our Hearts
Im purposely separating the two to make a point here
One is written by the finger of God on stone
The other on the heart by Jesus
In a way the ten commandments can be summed up which these as all flow within these two or should I say one "which is love"
Not a slushy love or a feeling, although in a sense it is a feeling as how can you have love without feeling, but this love is the agape love of God that only God can produce in our lifes as we yield to Him (submission)
So to the other commandments I had this
'You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.'

Now that being the ninth commandment, which is something that would be observed EVERY DAY

And I see all these commandments as being observed every day (if we are to observe these ten) within the law of Love or should I say "Commandment" as this is a command and not an observance , And so we look at the ninth commandment which came to me alongside another scripture

You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.

Proverbs 18:21 (New International Version,)

21 The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit.

"a wholesome tongue is a tree of life"

And so we do not take of this fruit

I see all these ten commandments that were given to Moses on Sinia to the people as they built
the golden calf as one and the same within the one law of love, notice I say law .
The commandment to keep our tongues is a daily thing, in fact a lifetime thing
You might say that the sixth commandment which is "do not murder" is not something we even consider, but it is in a way, because there are more ways to murder than one, this also ties in with

21 The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit.

And so if we are to see the ten commandments we are to see it in the Light of all being a commandment on a daily basis, hour by hour and minute by minute and second by second

Ephesians 4:29

Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building
others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen.

Have I put something before God today that might stop the channel ?

21 The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit.

how can we keep a day Holy ? well I can keep the inside of my cup clean and not just the outside

You know the eight commandment is not just monetary terms, I can steal with my eyes and heart
We live under a commandment of "love"
all these can be summed up on a daily basis by this love, not a human love but only a divine love that is yielded too as we submit to our husband
Agape And Phileo
Ephesians 5:25 (New International Version,

25 Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her

You know that scripture never quite made sense to me ?

Here we are equating Gods love with human love

We are comaring the love of God with the love of a man to a women

So too Paul gave revelation as to the mystery

Genesis 2:24

24For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and they will become one flesh.

Ephesians 5:31-33 (New International Version,

31 “For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife,
and the two will become one flesh.” 32 This is a profound mystery—but I am talking about Christ and the church.

And so I ask this can a man love his wife as Christ loves the Church ?

In my understanding no man can love as God loves

If indeed we had the love of God as God loves it would be an undying love or should I say "a dying love"

It would kill love as God loves...........

Could a human possibly love as God loves ? to love every soul to the ends of the earth ?

Even to love just one person with a love that would mean to give up everything and anything ?

I hear hearts say " o yes ..we have Gods love" ?

Well I am yet to see Gods love displayed through a human in its entirety !!

I have seen parts of Gods love displayed, I have seen portions of Gods love but I am yet to
see a human unconditional love that would think of someone disregarding oneself to the point where
we loose our own identity and self to be selfless as to death for another

I cannot see it as possible without loosing ones life

I hear hearts say " Yes but its Gods love not ours"

mm do you really realise what that means ? and the consequences of having that love in its entirety ?

You would not survive, "ahh but you say "we have but small bits of Gods love " ?

So do we have Gods love or not ? either we do or we do not !

Now we come to this scripture

John 21:15-17

15 So when they had finished breakfast, Jesus said to Simon Peter, "Simon, son of John, do you
love Me more than these?" He said to Him, "Yes, Lord; You know that I love You." He said to
him, "Tend My lambs."

16 He said to him again a second time, "Simon, son of John, do you love Me?" He said to Him,
"Yes, Lord; You know that I love You." He said to him, "Shepherd My sheep."

17 He said to him the third time, "Simon, son of John, do you love Me?" Peter was grieved
because He said to him the third time, "Do you love Me?" And he said to Him, "Lord, You know
all things; You know that I love You." Jesus said to him, "Tend My sheep.

We are using the word "Love" here

1 John 4:8

8 Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.

This love of God is the expression of God because God is love and He cannot be anything else

Now we have the name change from the "Reed" to the "Rock"

The Reed blown around in the wind to the "Rock" who is Peter

In the first question to Peter Jesus says "Simon, son of John, do you
"Agape" Me more than these?"

Peter, He says to Him, "Yes, Lord; You know that I phileo You."

A second time ""Simon, son of John, do you agape Me?"

"Yes, Lord; You know that I phileo You."

A third time , "Simon, son of John, do you phileo Me?"

"O its changed ? "

"Lord, You know all things; You know that I phileo You."

Somehow this Agape love of God is placed within us through the Holy Spirit working, but do we
always walk in God ?

For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the
future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able
to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 8:38-39)

John 15:13

Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends.

Nothing can separate us from Him, yet we can

Now Lets turn this around full circle and start walking in the other direction

Lets look at the other side of the coin, the other side of the double edged sword

Again the paradox of the Word

Lets look at

Matthew 19:29

And everyone who has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or children or
fields for my sake will receive a hundred times as much and will inherit eternal life.

Agape love demonstrated by leaving and following God above all else

Evangelism, the laying down of oneself for the sake of others....Or the laying down of others for the
sake of the Kingdom
Conclusion...................I have come to the conclusion , that there is no conclusion to anything
The more you learn the momore there is to learn
The more knowledge you obtain , the more questions there are to answer
It is like putting a teaspoon into the sea and drawing up from this vast sea a spoonful of water,
you may have a small amount of knowledge in your hand but you can never control the oceans
Pray these words with me

Lord God in Jesus name let me know that love as I submit to you And yield to you,, let me know that divine agape
love working through me everday as I submit and yield to my Husband who is Jesus............ In Jesus name amen
