Psalm 138,My life in His Hands.
Now we see a another Psalm /song of King david - as He sings "I will give glory with my whole heart"
I had a disturbing dream the other night - in which I saw a person speaking to me - He had eyes that were dazzling and He told me to wait for "the woodman" - no idea what this meant but I assume this has something to do with more pruning"
I can only assume that God is n0t finished with me yet and that He has greater plans for my life.
So we come back to another "rising up psalm with Psalm 138 " as we let go of more of us and take on more of Him.
We now go from Psalm 137 and the hanging up of the harps into willow trees and go to the opposite with Psalm 138 "to praise God with all of our hearts"
I begin to wonder whether the people in babylon were not really beginning to worship God with all of their hearts
With Psalm 138 we begin another series with a theme of Praises of David - this series continues to Psalm 145 and has
eight steps - I am not going to divide this into stanzas, but I make it personal and I want you to speak out these
words, [or sing them]
I will give you thanks, O Lord, with my whole heart, before the gods I, Tes will sing your praise;
I bow down toward your holy temple and I Tes will give thanks to your name for your steadfast love and your faithfulness,
for you have exalted above all things your name and your word.
On the day I, Guardian called to You and you answered me and my strength of soul You increased.
All the kings of the earth shall give you thanks, O Lord, for they have heard the words of your mouth and they shall sing
of the ways of the Lord, for great is the glory of the Lord.
For though the Lord is high, he regards the lowly - like me , Tes ,but the haughty he knows from afar.
Though I, Tes walk in the midst of trouble, you preserve my life, you stretch out your hand against the wrath of my
enemies and your right hand delivers me.
The Lord will fulfill his purpose for me, your steadfast love, O Lord, endures forever. I, Tes will not forsake
the work of your hands....
